Beats TV and Outdoor: Herald Sun is Volvolutionary
Premium car brand, Volvo, is extremely pleased with their recent decision to advertise in the Herald Sun. After traditionally running campaigns on TV and Outdoor, Volvo is now getting great results with print advertising. Starting with just one dealership in Melbourne's east, Volvo Corporate now advertises regularly. An increase in leads is a sure sign it was the right choice.

Altitude Volvo's dealer principal, Robert Barber explains: "With our very tight marketing budget, the critical mass reach of the Herald Sun made it a great marketing tool to build the Altitude Volvo brand in Victoria, especially with the broad appeal of Carsguide. No matter what demographic people are in, they all read Carsguide. People love reading about cars - it's working like Top Gear does; by engaging with the community. I continuously receive calls and comments from clients; parents from the school; and business associates who actually quote road tests or Volvo articles I know for a fact are exclusively featured in Carsguide."

Carsguide is Victoria's premium automotive liftout published in the Herald Sun each Friday. Editorial covers every type of marque from Holden Barinas to Ferraris. Plus a new lick of paint and content refresh are just weeks away. Stay tuned.

To advertise in Carsguide, please contact Rose Koutsodontis, sales manager, on 03 9292 1284 or email koutsodontisr@hwt.com.au

New Trivial Pursuit promotion
Readers love promotions, and none more than our newest addition, Trivial Pursuit.

With a $1 million prize pool this was one of our most exciting promotions yet.

The campaign gave readers the chance to take home prizes from 3D Hisense TV's and $5,000 Flight Centre gift packs to Lexus IS 250 cars.

An advertising campaign in TV, radio, print, online and point of sale supported the campaign.

In other promotions news our mini cookbook collection - headlined by big industry names including Jamie Oliver and Donna Hay - was also a big hit with readers. Average daily Herald Sun circulation increased by +15,000 copies per day throughout the campaign.

At the Herald Sun, there's always an exciting promotion waiting in the wings. It's a great time to advertise so talk to us today.
